FAQ

What types of projects does Jeffrey’s Apparel work on?

We design, develop, and produce corporate uniforms for hotels, restaurants, clinics, hospitals, retail businesses, and other organisations where the appearance of the team forms an important part of the brand experience.

We can work on complete uniform redesigns as well as specific projects for individual departments, openings, new locations, or brand image updates.

Do you offer standard garments or develop custom designs?

We offer both options.

We can select and customise existing garments from our professional catalogue or develop fully bespoke uniforms, including design, pattern development, fabric selection, prototyping, and production.

The right solution will depend on the scope of the project, timeline, budget, and level of customisation required.

Can you adapt the uniforms to our brand identity?

Yes. We analyse each client’s visual identity, positioning, spaces, corporate colours, and operational requirements.

Our goal is to ensure that the uniforms integrate naturally into the overall brand experience while maintaining a consistent image across departments, roles, and customer touchpoints.

What information do you need to prepare a proposal?

For an initial assessment, we typically need to know:

  • industry and type of establishment;
  • approximate number of employees;
  • departments or roles included;
  • garments required per employee;
  • target implementation date;
  • customisation requirements;
  • indicative budget;
  • and current laundry and garment-care system.

Based on this information, we can define the scope of the project and recommend the most suitable approach.

Is there a minimum order quantity? Is there a minimum order quantity?

Yes. Minimum order quantities depend on the type of garment, level of customisation, and production method.

Customised catalogue garments allow us to work with smaller quantities. Exclusive developments and fully bespoke productions require specific minimum quantities, which are communicated before the project begins.

What is the typical lead time for a project?

Timelines depend on the scope of the project.

As a general reference:

  • customised catalogue garments: 4 to 8 weeks;
  • bespoke developments involving prototypes and custom patterns: 10 to 16 weeks;
  • large-scale comprehensive projects: specific phased timeline.

We recommend starting the planning process well in advance, particularly for openings, refurbishments, or complete uniform renewals.

Do you produce prototypes before production?

Yes. For bespoke projects, we develop prototypes to validate the design, fit, fabrics, finishes, and functionality before moving into full production.

Production begins once the prototypes have been approved and the final specifications confirmed.

How is staff fitting organised?

We can organise fittings in several ways:

  • on-site measurements carried out by our team;
  • fittings coordinated by the client’s uniform, housekeeping, or HR department;
  • or measurements taken using specific measurement forms and tutorials.

For larger projects, we recommend conducting fittings in person to ensure consistent sizing criteria and minimise issues later in the process.

Do you offer special sizing?

Yes. Our sizing covers a broad range and, when required, we can develop adaptations or specific solutions for individual members of staff.

Feasibility is assessed during the fitting and validation stage.

How do you select fabrics?

Fabric selection is based on the employee’s role, frequency of use, laundry system, climate, level of formality, and required durability.

We assess factors such as:

  • breathability;
  • durability;
  • stretch;
  • dimensional stability;
  • ease of maintenance;
  • colour fastness;
  • comfort;
  • and continuity of supply.

There is no single fabric suitable for an entire project: each role may require a different technical solution.

Can the garments be washed at home?

It depends on the fabric composition, garment construction, and finish.

Whenever operationally possible, we prioritise easy-care materials suitable for domestic washing. More structured garments, such as certain jackets or tailored pieces, may require professional cleaning.

Final care instructions are established individually for each garment reference.

Do you provide embroidery, logos, and custom branding?

Yes. We can incorporate:

  • embroidery;
  • heat transfers;
  • screen printing;
  • custom labels;
  • branded buttons or trims;
  • colour details;
  • and individual packaging.

Each technique is selected according to the fabric, intended use of the garment, and desired visual result.

Can you manage safety stock?

Yes. We recommend maintaining additional stock to cover new hires, incidents, size changes, and urgent replacements.

This stock can be stored at the client’s premises or, where agreed, at our own facilities. Its distribution is defined according to the actual sizing of the team and a size curve tailored to each project.

How do replenishment orders work?

Once the project has been implemented, we can manage replenishment orders periodically or on demand.

We recommend monitoring safety stock levels and activating new production when a minimum threshold is reached, helping to prevent stock shortages or interruptions in supply.

Can you maintain the same fabrics and colours for future replenishment orders?

Whenever possible, we work with permanent fabric references and suppliers that offer continuity of production.

However, fabrics may evolve or be discontinued over time. For this reason, we recommend maintaining safety stock and planning replenishment orders in advance, particularly when highly specific colours or materials are used.

Can you work with several locations belonging to the same group or chain?

Yes. We can develop a common uniform identity for an entire group and subsequently adapt it to different locations, climates, departments, or service levels.

We can also centralise design and production criteria while maintaining separate management for each establishment.

Do you work outside Spain?

Yes. We undertake both national and international projects.

Shipping conditions, lead times, customs requirements, and replenishment processes are assessed according to the destination and scale of the project.

Is design charged separately?

It depends on the project.

Bespoke developments may involve specific costs related to creative direction, design, pattern development, technical specifications, prototypes, and samples.

These costs are clearly detailed before work begins and, for certain projects, may be partially or fully incorporated into the production budget.

What happens if we need to change quantities during the project?

Quantities can be adjusted before final production begins, provided that the changes remain compatible with minimum order requirements and the agreed timeline.

Once fabrics have been purchased or manufacturing has started, any modifications must be reviewed individually and may affect pricing or delivery times.

Do you advise on the number of garments required per employee?

Yes. We recommend the appropriate garment allocation based on:

  • role;
  • frequency of use;
  • staff rotation;
  • laundry system;
  • seasonality;
  • and number of working days per week.

We can also help define appropriate safety stock levels and forecast initial replenishment requirements.

How can we request an initial assessment?

You can contact our team with details about the type of project, approximate number of employees, target implementation date, and departments involved.

Based on this information, we will arrange an initial meeting to understand your requirements and define the next steps.
